need to borrow favor...

Posted in OT, but little response so thought I'd try here.

My Dell desktop (2001), which is essentially used as just a print server and occasional POA, came up with a error message rendering my 2 wireless printers useless as the Dell wont boot into Windows.

It say's the following file is corrupt or missing and must be re-installed:

<windows root>\system32\ntoskral.exe.

I cannot find my OS disks (XP Pro) that came with the Dell, likely misplaced or lost during my recent move.

Does anyone have XP Pro disks I can borrow to get my computer hopefully booted back up so I can get my stuff off it?

For the record, I have a wireless home network, running 2 printers, 3 laptops and the hardwired Dell. I still need to address the wireless printing issue as being hardwired is not a solution for me, but I'll deal with that later.

Thanks

Sorry I don't have 'Pro'.

I have Dell XP Pro OS with service pack2 and driver discs that came with my Dell XPS laptop. I can stick them in the mail for you if you are stuck.

Thanks, Canada Grant stepped up to the plate, all the way from BC, and is mailing them to me.
