Can A dirty Maf cause this?
 

I've had a cutting out issue that comes and goes. The problem would normally start after driving 20-30 miles and would get worse as you drove but seemed to go away at full throttle and was not there at idle.
I don't have any codes and I changed the fuel filter.

I took the MAF out and cleaned it and it seems to have stopped my problem. I'm asking because it has gone away before and returned

a dirty MAF can casue numerous driveability issues, some throw codes, some do not... It depends on how dirty it is...

The problem returned today.

A simple test is to just unplug the MAF and drive it. If it runs okay without it, your MAF is the problem. It might need to be replaced.

I had a similar issue. I had sucked up a piece of closed cell foam and it got stuck across the MAF. My car was running all kinds of gorfed, so I pulled the MAF plug and she smoothed right out.

I bought a new MAF and went to replace it, and found the foam stuck in there. Doopt! I figured I already had everything apart, so I may as well replace it. Been good to go ever since.

Please explain what you mean by "cutting out"

Loss of engine power?
Loss of electrical power?
Engine shuts down?
Missing?

To be clear, you have manually check the DIC for any codes?

The only thing I can think of is possibly the o2 sensor(s) because they're off (practical, not literal) during WOT and on whether or not the MAF is plugged in. You should either have o2 codes or lean codes (which may mean dirty/plugged injectors)
Pull the codes and do whatever lucky tells you to. lol. He's pretty good with these.

Yes loss of engine power at various RPM's and it comes and goes. Sounds like a miss to me that you begin to faintly hear in the exhaust and it progressively gets worse
The engine does not shut down and no loss of electrical power. If I give it gas it will come out of it for a second
The only codes I show are
PCM P0102 which I believe is from unplugging the MAF today

RFA 2100,2105,2110,2115,1064 From I think no tires sensors

What kind of intake/air filter are you running. A lot of guys have problems with the K&N type filters because once you oil them, the oil gets sucked out of the filter and sprayed onto the MAF.
Also, if you have a Vararam intake, they have horrible seals and let in a lot of unfiltered air, causing your MAF to dirty and pose the symptoms you've experienced.

I've had both of these issues on my car. It sucked, but changing air filters and siliconing the airfilter to the intake so no unfiltered air could get by fixed my problem. That and cleaning the MAF once the fixes had been completed.
