For Sale: My LS2 block with 1 cracked cylinder.

Is it worth anything? The block has a small crack on Cylinder number 3. LME offered to sleeve it but I went with a new block instead. Its available today; make me an offer :D

Sam, did you go LS3?

No, forged LS2. The price difference was going to be almost 500 bucks and I didn't feel 0.2L more displacement was really worth it... As-is my power will be very limited by my supercharger and fuel sytem, so I didn't want to build it up beyond what was needed.

PM the guys from VA speed, I read somewhere that they do a full reworking to the LS2 block in house, they might want it since the cracked sleeve wouldn't matter at that point.

I need one. Can you PM me with how much you want. I can come get it this weekend.

I'd keep it, put a glass top on it and make a nice coffee table out if it. Use the cracked piston as an ash tray. :)

It split in half, so I'll have to use it as a doorstop or something
I like the table idea though! My friend has one:
