1-3/4" will work great on a mild non-Forced induction car..

Prices please for 2001, both 1 3/4" and 1 7/8" catted. What would be better for stock cubes, planning on heads and cam later wouldn't spin over 7.5K?

For a mild to relatively stock car 1 3/4" would be better.

TPSMak,
Thank you for sending the prices. I believe I have seen the other offers for the 'knock off' set up and I will have to say the price difference is significant. I am all for supporting the original designer and manufacturer of a product, however, when it comes down to a budget the cheaper route always initially appears easier for the pocket book. Please help convince me that LG is the way to go. Also, I would like some feedback from anyone else that has bought and installed the LG. Was it easy to install, hook up, did it line up correctly? I would be willing to spend the money if I am sure there would be no problems installing the system.

Spencez28 02-21-2010 11:06 PM

If you're on a tight budget like me(22 and saving for a house) the "knock offs" are the way to go, but be prepared to make some adjustments to the fit as they arent the greatest quality.
However if you can come up with the extra cash, Im certain that quality headers like these would be a much easier install.
The extra work Ive had to put in working out the bugs in my cheap system are worth the extra $500 or so, if I had it...
Just my .02, If I find some extra $ I'd love to get a set of LGs to replace my cheapies
