Arvin Meritor Dynamic Height Control suspension(How much)

I am looking to upgrade my suspension to something adjustable in the cabin and would like to know if Pratt Miller sells this unit at a reasonable price to outside members not buying the whole car. I am sure it is similar to the Magnetic ride control we see on the new Corvettes. Would be nice on the Z06 to be able to adjust ride and height.

It's nothing like the factory MSRC. It sounds like it's an air shock system:

If you want it, just get the Pratt Miller C6RS Sport Package for $98,695:

What it would cost for just the Dynamic Height Control system, or if you can even get just it alone, I dunno!

I think the unit is $9000 for the setup. I wonder if it is that good.

Oh.....I imagine that if Pratt&Miller is using it that it is "that good"!

Actually, $9k doesn't sound too bad - I thought it would be twice that.

I'm certainly not ready to spring for it, but it sure does sound very nice. The literature says that it actively adjusts the air shocks to adjust rake and ride height at high speed for better aerodynamics, and that at low speed you can adjust it to "slam" the car, or you can raise it up for speed bumps/driveway dips.

The P&M system is comprised of the air shocks, computer controller that interfaces with the PCM, and different composite leaf springs than the OE ones. With that stuff and installation I thought it would cost more than $9K.

Anybody tried it out yet??? ;)

Let us know how it works!

I have the Arvin Meritor air ride suspension my Lexus. It is an ultra smooth ride with adjustable ride height. I have swapped out the rear shocks twice as they leak down overnight.
This is not what I want on my Z!

Arrrggghhh!!! That doesn't sound good at all!!:ack:

How much did a shock cost?

You're right, not the kind of problem I want on any car I own!
