F/S 08 A/O Cpe 4LT/A6/F55

SOLD in one day, gone on the second. Thanks to all who expressed interest.

Some may not believe it, but springtime (and driving funtime) is just around the corner. Now's the time to grab this great offer and get ahead of the inevitable warm weather price bumps.

I'm selling my hard-loaded 08 Atomic Orange 4LT coupe with only 17,800 miles on it. I just purchased this former GM exec's car last fall from a Forum member located in CA (and drove it back to KC via Rt-66). However, my new business venture continues to struggle and I just can't afford the toys right now. My loss, your gain.

The car has the really rare all black (ebony) leather interior which includes leather door panels, dash pad, console lid, etc. 4LT also has a different carbon fiber "weave" in the dash/console surround.

Not only is this late build car equipped with the A6 paddle shifted trans and adjustable F55 suspension, but it also has J55 brakes w/cross-drilled rotors, NAV, CD, XM, etc, chrome "gumbies," fully tinted windows, a full width GM rear spoiler and more.

A/O and 4LT garner positive comments and thumbs up wherever it goes. See for yourself: http://s607.photobucket.com/albums/t...vette%20Coupe/

I have the title in hand and it can be yours for a very fair, no haggle, "sell it fast" $36.8k.

Sale Pending Presumed new owner flying to KC today. Thanks CF!

01 Z06....seriously?!? Kansas City (KC) is dead center of the Continental 48. The metro area staddles two states; KS & MO. I happen to live on the KS side. C'mon up sometime and I'll introduce you to some real b-b-q.

As it happens, I do know where Crestview, FL is from visiting nearby Destin.

No problem.....may have been my bad for assuming everyone knew the abbreviation for KC. And yeah, it's not like you can just "drop over" when you're coming from the gulf (beautiful area). Offer still stands on the b-b-q, though!!

Jerry,

I'm so sorry to hear about you business, its rough out there, which is why I had to sell it and settle for a less expensive Vette, a C5Z06.

As the previous owner of this car, I would buy it back in a heartbeat! The car is beautiful, loaded with extras, and the AO would turn heads everywhere. The 4LT interior pretty rare, as a $4,000 option, it does nothing for performance, but it sure looks good! This one is even rarer as the all ebony was introduced late 2008, only 45 cars were made in 2008 with all ebony.

If you are serious about buying a used Corvette, jump on this one, you will not be sorry!

Hi Bob,
yeah, the current administration isn't doing anything to help me out.....but it's good to hear from you. Nice looking Z in your avatar!!

CFer's, this respondent is one of the most conscientious sellers I've ever worked with. If he ever offers another one of his cars for sale, you need to check it out. It's a great disappointment to have to sell this AO ride he cared for so carefully.

Bob, send me pics of the new ride if you get a chance. PM me if you need my email address.

Hi Strawboss,
I didn't mean to imply ebony was a rare color....in an 08 w/4LT the all black (or ebony) interior was a late option. Initially, the 4LT option was a two-tone interior. Because the all black option had a late release date in the 08 production year, very few (of the very few 4LT equipped cars) came with that option. I'd imagine the single color was a broader choice in later model years.

ttt for a killer ride!

curious, how many low ball offers have you received since you posted a killer price on your ride? "

RedThunder 02-25-2010 11:38 AM

Thank you for the bump and the compliment. And in answer to your question, everyone who has replied has been very courteous....no lowballers or negative comments.

Shows two things; 1-CF guys are mainly very civil towards each other (always been my experience anyway) and, 2-most people realize I priced the car fairly for a quick sale (which I need to accomplish).

The high number of responses has been very encouraging. Thanks to all who have replied. All PMs have been answered.

If this was a manual and 3 months ago I'd have been all over it. Great price.

Good question. Dorothy said that it blew away about 50 years ago. All they ever found was Toto from what I heard.
