Monterey red C6 vert vette with some nice water spots
Festool FEQ 150 Love this machine, very low vibration and ultra smooth. You could use any R/O and get these results.
Surbuf pads via the Kevin Brown Method (KBM)/M105. Before: http://img705.imageshack.us/img705/38/img4187o.jpg 50/50 Sorry that the pic is a little out of focus. http://img709.imageshack.us/img709/5745/img4199n.jpg More to come later. |

What would you compare this sander to power wise Bryan......? The festool has less then half of the vibration of the G110v2 (v2 has less then XP PC). I believe it has a smaller throw, but still gets the job done. It feels better in your hands, you can finish polish with one hand as well as some polishing/compounding on flat surfaces. I don't even feel the need to use it in forced rotation mode. http://img169.imageshack.us/img169/6475/img4060p.jpg |
Thanks for that info......
Cool looking machine..... For as many vehicles as you do, I can see where vibration may become an issue..... |

Its nice for sure, if they did not have a 30 day return policy I would of never tried it out. Who me? Polishing paint on many cars? :D Last week: Black LS430 25 man hours of polishing between Bret and I. This week: This vette approx 18 hours of polishing. Tomorrow a Ferrari 360 at least 10-12 hours of polishing. |

Now its just a c6 cert vette with an awesome shine!!
Thanks again Bryan! I swear you made it drive faster for me!! Everything from the tires to the interior looked brand new. You can count me in for an annual Spring Detail! I spent over an hour trying to find one waterspot and I could not find any!! Great job! Thanks. |
Bryan,
You know what I'm up against with my 2008. So my question is are the Surbuf pads something that I should look into for the task at hand and can they be used on a PC? Thanks and awesome job as always? I may still need to get you out here if I can scrape up the $'s. Wayne |
