RadioFlyer's SLC's (Stealth Light Cannon Fixed Headlights)
Well here they are. For anyone on the fence about these, get off the fence and get them! The light output is fantastic and the look is even better. Mine are finished in Electron Blue to match the car (they look MUCH MUCH better in person as the camera simply wont pick up the color very well). Just got these back and threw them on the car real quick to get some pics. A few minor alignment adjustments and they will be all set. The perfect fixed light option for the C5 period.

Looks pretty good...
How easy was the install? |
 They look very nice!
I believe you'd need a polarizing lens on the camera, to cancel out the lens haze. |

So very, very awesome!
I only wish that TheRadioFlyer did not put out the Light Cannons first as I would have gladly bought the SLC's. I can only imagine the output at night. |
Very nice new lookhttp://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...smileycool.gif

Looks good, not my thing though. The reason I was attracted to the C5 was the hidden headlight.
 |
Very nice.
I'm curious what paint type your shop used on the shrouds. |

Stealth Projectors and Shrouds Painted
Here's the projectors and shrouds painted quick silver on my convertible. Alot of work on prep was needed on the shrouds and projectors. You will note I rounded the projectors and cleaned up the edges on them. Does anyone know what I can use on the underside of the lexan covers to smooth them out. With the light color in direct sunlight you can see the bubbles/excess material showing up as spots when you stand up close to them.

Wow, i'm impressed. And those were the prototype shrouds too!
The lenses are made from PETG which is similar in construction to polycarbonate but forms better. I would not reccomend any abrasivee technique on the lens. The best you could do is use clearcoat on the lens to make it optically perfect. did you swap out the high beam for an aftermarket bulb? looks blue to me |
