Lots of luck getting 49k for it, hard to believe it is an 05 and no one ever drove it or it never got sold.

z edge 04-29-2010 08:29 PM

what idiot bought that car and only put 53 miles on it?

OR was it never titled? thats odd...

chgoblue 04-29-2010 08:30 PM

Things deteriorate over time. I'd rather buy an 05 with 20k miles on it for $50k, which of course is an idiotic premise in the first place.

fressh 04-29-2010 08:38 PM

I don't care how many miles are on it.It's still an 05.I would not 50,000 for it.

c6vetteowner 04-29-2010 08:39 PM

Last fall EVS had a new Lemans Blue 06 Convertible , nice car built right, they got $ 40k for it

JTS97Z28 04-29-2010 08:42 PM

Wow thats crazy that a 5+ year old car has never been driven. What also sucks is you can buy a new 09 for that price or cheaper. Makes no sense to buy.

Bat Man 04-29-2010 08:43 PM

My question is, does this NEW (never titled) 2005 have the 2007 + warranty? or the old 36/36 powertrain warranty?

C6Buddy 04-29-2010 08:52 PM

so basically everyone at barret jackson is a moron? hmmmmm

C6NRED 04-29-2010 08:57 PM

Ummmmmmmmmmmmm....no

Beautiful dreamer at that price............not a chance in you-know-where:lol:

Rob 99 04-29-2010 09:06 PM

If i was purchasing I would be concerned about the fluids in it especially the gas, how old is it? and the tires dry rotting or cracking or even flatspotted, now obviously it was kept indoors so the tire aging may not be a issue as if it was kept outside but as the other poster said rubber parts dry out and crack.

Bat Man 04-29-2010 09:09 PM

i'm guessing that's why it has 53 miles. Just taken out and test driven occasionally. It's never been titled I guess. This must be one, if not the last "new" 2005s.

gbgary 04-29-2010 09:11 PM

looks like they're finally trying to sell it. they need to try a little bit harder.

cclive 04-29-2010 09:11 PM

And yet, in 30 or 40 years, it will be very valuable because of the 53 miles.....funny....

tdogg21 04-29-2010 09:13 PM

i guess anyone who wants to have a possible collectible first year c6 will want it. tough getting 50k for it though.

the color might have helped drive that since you can't get that color on a new car now.

Probably out of warranty and GM would not be able to certify it. It's 5 years old!

Warranty doesn't start until the car is sold though. So technically it still has a factory warranty.:crazy:
