Installed Block-it!
Don't like adding weight but to kill most of the rear tire noise it's worth
all 20 or so pounds this thing adds. plus it up it makes the Bose sound better. I give it a thumbs up! |
Cool and I have been debating this mod for our DDhttp://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...smileycool.gif

Worth the couple of bucks it costs
|
Did it myself last week. Like it. I also put the pieces behind the seats UNDER the carpet. Cleaner look.
|
I have it also and give it a
Glad I got it and it makes a nice difference  |

I bought it from TKO as part of the group purchase. I think it is well worth the investment. It really reduces cabin noise from the Goodyear run flat tires.
|
Is there another group purchase?

When installed, it looks like it covers both rear cubbies in the trunk. Is this true? |
I bought it a few years ago and thought it was junk, didn't make a bit of difference, pulled it out and sold it.
Just my opinion though:D |
I found that removing the plastic liner in the back wheel wells, and inserting acoustical insulation wrapped in plastic, filling the cavity in front of the rear wheels cut down tire noise by at least 50%.
There is a bit of insulation in a black plastic bag already, but it does not fully fill the cavity. |

Like the install, it takes approx 60 seconds to remove. Thank you for your purchase, the kind words and for taking the time to post them!

Thin, light weight. The performance to weight ratio is unreal. Fantastic at removing vibration & noise within your vehicle. Does not have that "tin foil" look. Check it out here  http://store.tkoperformance.com/200520131.html https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...3ce62e330e.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...8921fba913.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...41f6e5ea19.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...118eac3df6.jpg Thank you all. Group Buy??
I was reading about a past group buy on this product. What are the chances of another group buy taking place again? I am so in if it happens.:thumbs:
