The "Holy Grail" of Corvette Pedal Cars
I have little doubt there will be a fight over this thing. Dig the slideshow. I would've done anything to be one of those lucky kids in the race.

I agree about being the lucky kid in the race but what about being the "lucky kid" high bidder?

That is awesome. I can't believe the condition.
|
That is neater than heck!
|
This just might be the cheapest 56/7 Corvette for sale right now!
Bid accordingly |
That is so KOOL!!!:yesnod:
|
Super-cool! It will be interesting to see how much it brings for sure.
If you miss being the high bidder on this one, I'd be glad to put you in the driver's seat of one of these fine machines: http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e1...1/BMCRacer.jpg http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e1...1/P1011121.jpg http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e1...py31/Pal-1.jpg I was a very avid pedal car collector at one time - still have a few that I'd like to sell. Bush Find
:skep: Found under a bush in the yard, wonder if that will catch on like barn find.
|
Very cool, never mind the kids, any corvette guy, would love to have one of those.

Looks like rust around the kickups and that VIN stamping looks suspicious but other than that, it looks OK to me.
|
The front suspension and steering on this kid's pedal car is frighteningly similar to the full scale auto.

And I couldn't find any Broach Marks on the the Kid ether. Stll Its VERY COOL.. |
Amazing condition for it's age. When we outgrew our pedal cars, my brothers and I used to modify them for downhill races and see how many of our friends could climb on for the ride. Wheels would fly off, axles would snap and the bodies would shatter - thankfully it was just the pedal car bodies.

I'm blown away by how well they scaled down the real car's proportions. To this day, most pedal cars look like caricatures of the real car with oversized grilles, goofy trim and tiny wheels. The "Kiddie Corvette" is what happens when the GM Styling department gets involved.

Although we didn't have control over what happened to us as Kids, here's your chance to be in control of being the winning bidder!

No grand kids yet, so I will pass on bidding. I am suprised that there are no bids yet.

1953
I have a 1953 corvette pedal car with all of the original documentation. It has never been rode or touched the ground. I am looking for pricing advice for this pedal car as I am looking to sale. Any advice helps. Thank you
