C5 wheels

Will 17x9.5 C5 wheels fit my 78 Vette? I just got my car painted and guy I know has some wheels for sell. Just need to know if they will fit.
Thanks
Adam

They will not fit without adapters. You would also need to know the back spacing of the C5 wheels in order to determine what thickness adapters to buy.

IMHO if you just got it painted, make the car your own. C3's IMHO look better with a deep dish and you might be better off with 18's or 18's on the back and 17's on the front like I have. I don't know if you are getting a good deal on these wheels or not but consider there are literally 1000's of wheel choices for your car, I would look into it.

Not the specific wheel but the sizing and the deep dish is what I am talking about. I have only seen a couple of C3's that look good with new generations wheels, BeeJays comes to mind.

The c5 wheels are a good deal I can get them for less then $300 with tires. So I think it is a good deal. I cant find a good pic of the type of wheel but I think they will look good. By the way yours looks great with that them on there.
