help to get info about my BB 14015445

Hi, i have a 70 454 with this block: 14015445 (1982) and the suffix cod xch..
this is a ls7 crate engine..
for the italian immatricolation i need the original block but if i can demostrate that my block (14015445 xch) is an engine replacement for the corvette i don't have problem..
i found just this, but there isn't my casting number and is not significant i think

is possible compare this engine with the mythical ls7 of 1970?

No idea what requirements the government would have but the good thing that this is a replacement crate engine built by GM. On the other hand is was not built specifically for Corvettes, and no Corvette ever came from the factory with an LS7.

You might use the argument that it is impossible to buy a new replacement engine from GM with the same casting numbers or assembly code as the original engine, nor does GM issue a list of applicable replacement numbers, so the one you have now is no worse than any other choice.

thank mike!
the Catalog of Chevy V-8 engine casting numbers says that 14015445 is a block for the truck, i hope this will be not a problem..but i try with your thesis, the italian governament now has many other problems!!
i found that about my block, my engine pad is T0722XCH
