x pipe question? Any benefits of aftermarket one?

So I got a 2011 GS with NPP and I love the way it sounds. But would there be any advantages to getting an aftermarket x pipe? Any increase in sound, power? Any input would be appreciated. I dont care to put headers on this vehicle. I have them on my WS6 and thats enough sound for me. The NPP is perfectly tuned soundwise imo but a tad bit more sound or power wouldnt kill me. Thanks.

it already has a 2.5" x-pipe stock

Yea, I know this. But is there any better designs out there?

I doubt you would see any improvement going to an aftermarket one, if you already have one.

The only scenario I could see doing it would be if you were replacing the whole exhaust system with one with headers.

When I bought the B&B Fusions for my '08 Coupe they (B&B is local to me) told me the '08 and newer factory X-pipe was so good that there was no need to buy their's. Now they could have said the GM one was crap... Pre '08 the GM H-pipe was not as good and after market X-pipes were a good idea.

IMO you don't need a different X pipe. Spend your money on a Mild To Wild (MTW)switch, and gain the ability to open or close your NPP system at will. That should satisfy your need for more sound. I put Corsa Sports with their X pipe on my last car and thought it was better than stock. However, the NPP with MTW on my current car is way better. Why? Because it's much louder/more-powerful-sounding than the Corsas were, and when you put it in the quiet mode there's no drone.

"IMO you don't need a different X pipe"

I agree. There will not be a hic-ups difference between them.
