This is a Dyno sheet of a BONE Stock C5 Before and After :)

The A&A Supercharger kit brings you dramatic increases in power while not degrading everyday drivability or highway gas mileage! The system utilizes a large blow off valve that remains open at cruise and light throttle. This, essentially, allows the supercharger to “freewheel” under normal conditions, reducing parasitic loss to less than that of an alternator.

A naturally aspirated engine would require higher compression, a very aggressive camshaft, high flow cylinder heads with heavy duty valvetrain, exhaust headers with free flowing exhaust, larger throttle body, high flow intake manifold, free flowing air filter housing and duct, etc. Most of these parts are NOT emissions legal. The price of these components alone is higher than a supercharger system. The labor to install these is also much higher. Then there are the inherent problems brought to the vehicle by such a build. A large camshaft all but ruins everyday drivability AND gas mileage. Driving in traffic becomes a very trying experience. A stick shift car will buck and surge and an automatic car will be hard to hold back because of the increased idle speed required. Low speed torque is reduced with an aggressive camshaft which will require lower differential gearing and a high speed stall torque converter (automatic cars) to make up for it. This further degrades drivability and gas mileage. With all the components required for a high performance naturally aspirated car, the degradation in drivability and gas mileage, the total inability of the vehicle to pass emissions tests and the added expenditure, the vehicle would STILL have up to 100HP less than a stock Corvette with one of our standard systems bolted on.

Average increase TO THE REAR WHEELS is approximately 175 RWHP! No other modification, in this price range, even comes close.

A&A Corvette Performance manufactures top quality supercharger systems exclusively for C5 (1997- 2004) and C6 (2005- 2010) Corvettes including Z06.

Our systems have evolved into the most efficient and cost effective superchargers available today.

you manufacture super charger systems?

That is a good question. I just looked up A&A's address and it is different than TPS's address. Seems a totally different company to me.

No, TPS is just installing A&A supercharger kit. A&A does not manufacture the supercharger. The supercharger is manufactured by Vortech which is what most people are installing. A&A manufactures his own bracket, intake and intercooler design and then sell it as a kit with a Vortech supercharger. Hope this will clear it up.

thanks and sure does. was just researching A&A. as you state, the mfg the bracket and etc for the kit but not the supercharger itself.......

As Charlie says above we do not manufacture the systems. Vortech manufacturers the "Head Units" and A&A puts together a nice kit for us to install :)

Bump

Why mess with cams, heads, and long tube headers when you can get emissions legal performance with a Supercharger! Adding a supercharger over a big cam also will help retain the drivability of your car

So who wants to get blown?!?!

For a C6Z you'll get 600RWHP EASY on a stock car :)

sftdyna 05-08-2011 07:37 AM

Can you get this package in all black? I saw pictures of the new vortech systems for the mustangs in black and it really gives a stock looking appearance. Some of the reasons people shy away from centi set ups is the appearance which looks unrefined on a vette

Who else wants to get blown? Supercharging is the best way to get a bunch of HP, have great drivability, and easily pass emissions testing :)

Who else would like to get blown... here are some recent Vettes we just finished recently :)

Who else wants to get blown? We just finished another car last week on Lee's LS2 powered C6 :)

Who else wants to get supercharged? We just finished Dave's 05

Dave gave us a call a few weeks ago and wanted more HP (500RWHP) BUT wanted to retain great driveablity, decent MPG, and the ability to pass smog easy... so cams, heads, and long tubes were out the door. Dave dropped off his C6 on Thursday and by the following Wednesday afternoon he was on his way home to with an extra 180RWHP and 125RWTQ. Not bad for a 100% bone stock car besides a bolt on :D

Here are his numbers....
Before A&A Supercharger & TPS Tune
356RWHP, 355RWTQ

After A&A Supercharger & TPS Tune
536RWHP, 480RWTQ

So who else wants a supercharger?

We just finished Larry's 2013 Grandsport and 3 more lined up to have an A&A supercharger installed :)

**Baseline Before Dyno-415RWHP / 405RWTQ
**After A&A, Cam, & TPS tune: 634RWHP / 542RWTQ
**Net Gain: 219RWHP / 137RWTQ

Check out the install video of what we did for Larry's 2013 GS
