M/T ET Street vs. ET Drag

Can someone explain the difference to me. I can see the obvious, that the street sorta has a tread pattern. Are they also a radial? Why do so many people that have a drag setup with skinnies use the ET streets? Wouldn't traction be better with the ET drags? Only been to track a few times and I still have ALOT to learn.

the et drag is not available in 16", m/t discontinued them shortly after releasing the et street ( thier testing showed no apprediable difference in grip between the 2)

Been to your site several times and seen all the post from people raving about your set up. Did not realize your just down the street from me. I need to pay you a visit. Thanks for the quick reply.

The ET Drag is a real wrinkle-wall race tire that needs tubes. If you run it on the street at sustained speeds it will melt. The ET Street is DOT legal and you can drive to and from the track on it.

Basically, ET Drags are full slicks for competition racing and ET Streets just barely DOT approved for Bracket classes
