Chamois Towel Wringer?

Two part ?? I am just the owner of 1 corvette. I am not a detailer but I would like to have a Chamois Towel Wringer. Does anyone know I could get one reasonable? I have also bought alot of crappy chamois. Does anyone know of a good Chamois and where to get it?

Chamois are really old school and can actually cause paint damage. The best way to go is a waffle weave drying towel. AutoGeek carries them. Their cobra drying towel also works well. Adams makes an excellent (white) waffle weave drying towel also. Sheet the water off with an open hose nozzle, then use a leaf blower and finish with the waffle weave.

You can find them at one of the area's flea markets, maybe at the USA Flea Market on US 19N in Hudson or the Oldsmar Flea on Racetrack and Tampa Rd. Another place to see is the folks that sell Appliances like washing machines will sell them Wringer's to dry clothes. Our Friends at this location has them: http://www.topoftheline.com/towel-ch...-ring-dri.html

How bout trying someday our Big Blue III drying towels, I would bet you will like these very much in drying your Corvette.

Although most people have moved away from using Chamois we do understand a lot like to still use them. So we carry a couple of the nicer ones like the Prince of Wales. But for drying I really recommend the Cobra Guzzlers, they are absolutely great for drying cars!

Here is the towel and chamois wringer...

:lol::lol: Well it has been so long that I have had a car worth washing. I guess I am out of the know. Where is your store? Do you have the Big Blue III in stock?

Yes we do have them in stock ( Big Blue III ), were at 7717 Anderson Rd, Tampa about 20-30 mins from Odessa. I be happy to help you if you want to stop by and pick it up here at PAC. Let me know......................

While I do not prefer chamois myself, for those that love them should consider a synthetic version as they last much longer and easier to care for:
