Saaaaad day today.....

Saaaaad day today.

I sold my Z06 that I have owned and modded for over 5 years. With nearly 500hp and 30mpg on the highway, it was an awesome toy.

No particular reason for selling, I just didn't drive it very much anymore and never really got into the Vette crowd here in Charlotte (I moved from Colorado). Tons of fun in it though! That includes two cross-country trips in it!

It had several transformations-

On 19/20 Iforged Classics:

On 19/20 Iforged Aeros:

Finally, how I sold it, on 19/20 C6 Z06 Motorsports:

Who knows what the next car will be. I have had a sports car since I was 15, so it may not be long before I am back into one. I sold my '99 C5 and drove a 350Z for a year, then came back to the light with the Z06. So we shall see what comes next!

...on the flip side there is a guy in Charlotte who's got a huge smile on his face right now!

I somehow sense a C6Z in your future...

Hahaha... Well our Chevy dealer has like 8 of them parked inside... but I don't think the wife is onboard for a 100k car right now.

Beautiful car! We share similar tastes, '02 QS ZO6 with chrome C6ZO6 Motorsports. Sorry to see you let her go. Hey, is that Lake Norman and I-77 in the background? Great Pics.

Well time is time !

I could never walk away from a car like that, or like mine for that matter. I'll die before I walk away from 2003. If it gets teal bad I'll disconnect the battery and just sit in it in the garage ! :sadangel:

Good eye! It is very close to that. That is Mountain Island Lake and Highway 16 in the background. Mtn Island Lake connects to Norman (South side) and 16 is an exit off of I-77. Those were shot from my neighborhood boat launch.

I thought the same thing at first, but one of my hobbies is building up cars. So essentially I will start with a clean slate.

I still want sporty, but I think I will need 4 seats (might be extending the family). So I was looking at 335i's, Challenger's, or something like that.

If I can stay 2 seats, then there is only one choice :chevy

Damn, that was a sweet Z especially with the iforged aero's on it, but if you must get 4 seats, I'd go with the CTS-V.

Otherwise definitly go with the C6 Z06 for the next upgrade. Good luck!

I've been where you are. I have had three previous vettes thinking each time that I was done with em. I finally decided that vettes were in my blood and decided when I bought this last one that I would only get rid of it to get another one. I have realized that there will be times that I'm not as interested in it as other times, but ultimately I will not be happy unless there is one parked in the garage. I hope you are happy with your decision. If not, you can always find another one.
