Ive had it for over a year. And its a turbo diesel so it gets 15mpg around town and 18-19 on freeway and thats with the big tires.

I own a Duramax and a C6, and i do not see ANY reason to think that his truck is not a perfectly good deal for a trade for a C6. In fact when i seen his truck i was wondering why he would want to trade for a C6 when in fact his truck is probably worth more then most C6 coupes. OP i would post more info and def more pics of that beautiful truck. Good luck with your trade, shouldnt be hard to get.

Sweet truck man good luck

Thanks and yea duramaxs are just as expensive if not more than a stock C6 of the same year. I have all the stock parts that could return this truck back to stock but I dont want it to go back to stock. Im hoping whoever would want it would want it for how it is.
Ill see if I can find more pics and if not Ill take some tomorrow.
The whole front suspension is powder coated and chromed.
I am a regular on a truck forum that many people can confirm that I take care of my truck and never abuse it. I want my vehicles to last.

I cant really think of too much more to say about it other than showing pics. Here is a list of mods
chrome UCA and LCA
chrome tbar
chrome fox resis 2 per side up front and 2 in the rear
powdered double shock hoop
powdered front cross member and traction bars
HEIM Steering for extra strength
supports welded in around idler arm box to support any extra stress
Rear traction bars, just black coated right now
14 bolt rear end
Full turbo back exhaust
3" intercooler tube upgrade
3" turbo tube upgrade
Quadzilla stealth 2 tuner set at 70hp above stock
Allison transgo kit (upgrade for tranny) shift silenoids
BMF Novakanes 20x10
36x15.5x20 MTZs
12" Full Throttle Suspension lift

I may be forgetting something but thats good for now. Grey color interior, leather of course. dual heated seats and power

Lifted07Sierra 01-03-2011 03:30 AM

Keep in mind this is before I had the UCA and LCA and TBAR chromed
Reason for wanting to trade is Ive had lifted trucks for 7 years now. I want to get back in a fast car for atleast alittle while and then see where diesel trucks are at come 2013

:iagree:

Good looking truck man, good luck with the sale.

badass1g 01-03-2011 12:42 PM

Also another thing to add is the Allison trans is (from everything i've heard) the best diesel tranny available. And 50k miles on a Duramax is about equal to 15k miles on a vette IMO and many others. I just bought an 03 Duramax with 140k miles and it runs like new, they will go atleast 300k miles if properly maintained and in a lost of cases they will go 500k miles. Sick pics, i would have traded you my C6 for sure if i didnt buy my truck last week.

The first rule in the For Sale section is that if you dont have anything good to say ..KEEP YOUR FINGERS TO YOURSELF ...:toetap::toetap::toetap:
I have had both a C6 and a new Duramax Allison ...both are great units ...GOOD LUCK .....:thumbs::cheers:

Lifted07Sierra 01-03-2011 01:46 PM

Thanks guys and thanks for bringing up the mileage thing. For us DMAX owners Im sure we all know of plenty of duramax guys with well over 200k and no real money has been thrown at the truck for major maintence.
Allisons are great trannies and if you get yours built up with Suncoast upgrades they are damn near indestructible. If I had one Id put my truck back down to 6" of lift and turn the tuner up to 150hp and go hunting for some mustangs

And also its nice that you can sell duramax parts ASAP because of the high demand for them. Not sure how much vette parts depreciate but I love how as far as lift, tires and wheels go you can still get a lot of money for them.

FYI these 36s are $1800 + taxes brand new and still have about 30k left on them. The wheels are 20x10 BMF Novakanes are even on special run $1500

jaglmm 01-06-2011 03:19 PM

Im on 22x12 special order kmc monsters

My 07 Duramax with a procomp 6" lift and 35" tires only got 9-10mpg.

I also was using the ppm hot tuner.

Yea what was that tuner set at? and what was your driving style? 9-10 is way way low

My average is 13.1 and thats 90% stop and go traffic. I get 17-19 on the freeway.

slacker1201 01-06-2011 08:15 PM

I have an 07.5 2500 HD LTZ and have 115,000 miles on it. She runs as good as the first mile that I put on it. I did the DPF delete and can get 21-22 mpg on the hwy and 14-16 mpg with city driving. Good luck with your quest.

badass1g 01-06-2011 09:04 PM

9-10 mpg??? Something was wrong, either your foot was stuck on the gas or you didnt adjust for the larger tires with your tune. I have 6" lift and 37" tires and getting 17mpg frwy.
