Ok guys and gals...been lookin on the net now for 2 weeks tryin to make a decision on a set of rims for my black coupe...and still cant make up my mind. I got to get tires also so i got to watch my spendin. My ultimate choice is the CCW 505s...but there wayy outa my price range. So...with that being said....post up a pic of your vette with a decent shot of your rims and let me know what kind and size they are...that might give me a better idea. I am in the same boat as you. I got tired of looking at hundreds of different wheels over the past month and ended up ordering the very first set I looked at....My car is black as well and I was torn as to whether or not to get black rims, they do look tough on the black corvettes!

I got these C6 Z06 rims from JWmotoring for $600 delivered!!!:willy: They're stock C5 sizes, black w/ red pinstripe. I'm very happy with the service from JW and the rims are just what I was looking for, for an affordable price :thumbs:

Disregard the skinny tires in that last pic. Wheel and tire shop installed the wrong tire size. Got that fixed.

My gosh, those black rims look incredible against that red! Nice switch for sure........

Look at going in on there web site and look at all that CCW has to choice from. I can tell you the guys there know what they are doing in rims. You will not go wrong going with CCW.... Robert

Thanks for the compliment! I think the same blk/red rims would look awesome on a black vett. Get some red calipers too... It'd look pretty darn good imo :)

My suggestion is try to buy a high quality set of wheels in very good used condition. I bought my HRE 545's for about $2500. with tires from another forum member. I tend to stay away from Asian made wheels. I have had bad experiences with them....

C6 split spoke take offs... Got them for $300 from a friend had them painted pearl black. Run a 1/4 spacer in the rear and have been problem free :thumbs:

You made the right decision on wheels. Your car looks outstanding. :thumbs: I've already got nice iForge wheels, but I'm going to have them painted black w/red stripe, just like yours, soon. On a black car, it's been done, and I don't care. Love the black wheels! The pinstripe is the icing, for sure.
