I take care of these cars like they are my own. Not just the Vettes I tow, but all vehicles I tow. The strap looks close but no worries, because it never touched. and the money shot http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/...g/IMG_0373.jpg |
 Nice rig. :flag:

Due to being so low, it took close to a half-hour and many pieces of wood & ramps to get my '05 vert on a flatbed 2 weeks ago. You're lucky yours went so smoothly

I saw this at the Dupont Registry this morning. I was wandering what it was doing on a flatbed.

I specialize in low vehicles lol and I carry lots of ramping equipment, experience and pride make all the difference in the world. ;-)

We were just doing a advertising promotion with Stingray. Cars and Coffee was a good time as always!

The AAA guy that picked up my vert a couple weeks ago had a shorter flatbed than yours, hence all the effort to get my (very low) vert up there. We did it though, no scrapping at all. Seemed like getting back on the ground was even more difficult. |

Amen to that.:iagree:Wish there were more of you out there who thinks like you.. |
Bad thing about the auto clubs such as AAA, CrossCountry, and the others is they do not pay the towing industry well. You can make money, but it is high volume of calls, and a low margin of profit. This is the reason 9/10 times if you call AAA, etc you are sitting on the side of the road for so long. Most companies will put your AAA call to the side while they go make real money doing calls that pay a fair amount. Another bad thing about the auto clubs is that you may get Joe Nobody to come out to pick your car up. A person with no experience towing lowered, high end vehicles, and a person with no passion to treat your baby the way you do. I'll be honest, my rates are not the lowest, but they are not the highest. With me you get what you pay for, and by that I mean when I return your car it will be in the exact same condition I received it in.

Just move to Florida :-) |
Impressive. I like how clean the bed of your truck is, almost looks like glass.
I hope my car never gets to see a flatbed and if it ever does I want it to look like yours. |
Good work! They are a nice dealership.
|
If all tow companies used as much caution as yourself I'd get rid of my Runflats:thumbs:
On a side note I had my 2 month new 2001 Mustang Cobra flatbedded in the middle of the night (parking issue) by some co hired by the city. Destroyed my front facia and stored it overnight on deflated tires. My insurance Co. went after the owner and got reimbursed. |
Thats where i purchased my'09 Z51-Stingray chevy
|
That's the cleanest tow truck I have ever seen....the flat bed is shiny!

Nice ramps.
I work for a dealership and wish all tow drivers took this much care to the cars they tow. Most just hook and drag. :ack: |
