Delrin Headlight Bushing sizes

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone has any of the delrin bushings for repairing the headlights they could measure up for me, I live in Canada and its really expensive to have these shipped over from USA.
I can get a piece of delrin and machine it down, I just need the correct dimensions for it.

Any help would be appreciated.. I have read a few older posts and got mixed sizes, anywhere from 7/16" to roughly 1/2".. What is the bore size and the O.D? and.. its for an '88

Tony

they look like this..http://content.mamotorworks.com/img300/fr853.jpg

I ordered some from ebay very cheap (into canada). Still in a package and can measure them, but they are not hollow, not sure we're talking the same part? These are the 3 plastic pucks in the headlight drive that break down and stop the up/down?

The solid delrin bushings measure
.421 inches in diameter and .453 inches long.

mine were .437 in dia. and .455 long.
they do not need a hole in them.
glad to see another person with some machining knowledge on here.

FORD uses them in their older window motors.

I used to use ball bearings for the older ford window motors,I guess they could damage the gears,I would stick with delrin

This is what I use.

I've used them 5 or 6 times now (NOT on one car) and they've never F.O.R.Ded [Found On Road Dead ] on me.
