Here's a link so you dont have to chase listing numbers...
thanks for linking that.

Check this out and please help me answer this puzzle:willy:

Did someone graft a complete front end and rear section on a chrome bumper car....or stuff all the interior of a 72 into a late C3?......but the engine bay looks older than 74 :willy::rofl:

It appears that the body panels were replaced. The trim tag shows it as originally being Ontario Orange with a saddle vinyl interior and that would be a correct combo for 72.

I had to laugh at the dry, no rust comment as everything chrome has surface rust on it.

There is a lot of things that need to be repaired for that price. The ad says door panels in good original condition. The passenger side is in poor condition.

And you better buy it soon. Did you see the rubber fuel hose almost touching the header? They used the wire loom to feed the fuel line through and route it around the exhaust. I wonder how long before it gets soft and melts.

how about slashing of the rear window panel of the top....that's obviously damaged from use and time.

Barbie looks good though

it has the potential to look ok. ditch the hood for a stocker or an l88, fix the license plate placement on the rear bumper(why the hell would anyone put that between the taillights?), paint, clean up the interior and it could be a decent looking custom. entirely not worth the effort, but it could be

p.s. barbie does look pretty good

Why does it have to be PINK??? Looked like a decent car other than the color. Agreed, the accompanying female makes it somewhat easier to look at. Too bad she is not up for auction.

It's still showing up for me.

Try going directly to www.ebay.com, then search for item # 260764337469.

Geared toward that female car buyer that won't ask a lot of questions?

It's in Kalifornia. She has a Barbie:lol:

Dustup7T2 04-20-2011 04:26 PM

There's always a Ken and even if she swings both ways, certainly the best part of this particular sell.

I get queasy when I see a full bumper car without them (unless it's a bona fide racer) and this one, ain't.

T Rush 04-20-2011 05:45 PM

has anyone figured out what all years of body parts are involved there?

I'm still having a really hard time, as its almost like there isn't one whole body panel that is beholden to coming from a single year

my guess on the years of parts

I think I got them all...oh, yeah, and that hood is almost an exact copy of the one from the Corvette Summer movie
