Stock LS2 TTiX 1/4 mile Full street trim results

The car has bone stock LS2 minus dual valve springs and hardened pushrods with TTiX kit running 15.5psi boost in kill mode. Almost full tank of gas, Full interior with heavy ass subwoofer box in the trunk, 91 Octane, Torco and dual nozzle Alky Control kit. All runs were on 345/30/19 NT05R tires with 30psi for the first run and 21psi for the last 2 runs. It had rained the night before so track was not prepped the best. I could not get it to 60' under 1.9 for the life of me. I did not want to mess with the adjustable shock settings as I wanted to see what the car could do in 100% street trim. Car also has RPM Level VII A4, built Z06 differential and a single disk 3200 stall converter. People who know me will vouch that this car is not trailered anywhere. It's driven all over USA whenever I get a chance to drive it :) 40k miles on the car and 20K miles on TTiX kit with ZERO problems!

First run was 11.22X @ 140.XX (little chat)
2nd run 10.561 @ 142.68 (verbal warning)
3rd run 10.372 @ 143.19 (honorable discharge)

All the above runs were with 1.9 or higher 60' :ack:

Special thanks to Dr. Phil, George over TTi, RPM Transmissions crew and last but not least a VERY generous forum member 5 Liter Eater! :flag:

I shall be back without the subwoofer box, drag pack on, suspension dialed in and less than 1/4 tank of fuel soon!

UPDATE 06/20

I just wanted to update with a new PB again on 100% street trim like the car was last time (same everything else including 345/30/19 NT05R tires, subwoofer box, amplifiers and both seats etc) with the ONLY exception of 1/2 tank of gas, revised tune (shift points) and Pfadt shocks adjusted to 8 in the front and 2 in the rear.

I ran a 10.01 @ 144.28 but officials tore up the time slip and kept it before escorting me out. I will find out this week if I am banned or not. I have no idea what my 60' were like but the car felt like it actually hooked for a change! I am trying to get a print out of the run and post it up. I am anxious to see what this car will do with a proper drag pack. I had secured a drag pack but things didn't go thru as planned :(

 nice numbers man

TWINZO6 05-17-2011 07:14 PM

Those are some sweet numbers. Would switching to an 18" tire help the 60' times?

TRINIC5 05-17-2011 07:21 PM

Congratulation, your car show signs of nice power, enjoy it and be safe because its a dangerous toy.

carlrx7 05-17-2011 08:16 PM

FactoryRaceCar 05-17-2011 08:35 PM

Thanks guys. Carl I am running 91 Octane plus Torco. Equalant of 94 Octane I believe then meth.

I hope with the suspension (adjustable shocks) tweaked and 18" M&H tires I will be able to hook lot better. I just simply blew the 19" NT05Rs tires off the line no matter what I tried.

Congrats Nouman! Nice times, better than the frc if I remember right?

Yes, stock to stock motor and 19" tires. I think FRC was 10.8ish @ 138. I never ran it after the forged build.

congrats  nice numbers for stock block!!

how much did it put down?

NormWild 05-17-2011 09:40 PM

Really awesome, especially the mileage on the stock bottom LS2 making that HP.

winters97gt 05-17-2011 11:45 PM

That is moving on the stock block! Congrats!

TTI George 05-17-2011 11:55 PM

Thanks for the props Nouman. I'm happy to have been able to help you attain this goal. Nice ET and great MPH! I wish I could drive my six speed like that. You auto guys make me jealous sometimes.

Lets do a bit more logging before you turn up the wick -k-? ;)

Looks good man! Great runs!

black98c5 05-18-2011 12:18 PM

Nouman, Congrats on the PB with the car. It's a beast. With some decent track prep, that's a 9.xx sec car ALL DAY!!! Very impressive.

Thanks for letting me drive it when you stopped by Chicago on your way back from RPM Transmissions. I can't believe how streetable it is considering the power it makes. Drives like stock until you get into the throttle....once in boost though...hold on!!!

That's one sweet cross-country cruiser you've got there!
