ill bite my tongue and not rag on you. most bike racks go in tow hitch. they do make hitch for the vette, we have seen pics of idiots with large boats behind their cars. so yes you can probally pretty easily put a bike rack on your vette although i dont understand why the h3ll you would ever do it.

Probably to haul a bike around.

I am a big FAN of using my vette as a car....You can run but you cant hide!

my car is a dd but youll never see pulling trialers or bikes around with it. its a sports car not a pickup truck. i wouldnt even put a hitch on the old ladys cts-v.

:iagree:

Let's face it, if you want a bike rack or maybe carry some snowboards on a roof rack, a vette is probably not the car you wanted to buy. This is one of the reasons I considered an audi to replace my c5 (but I made the right choice ;) )

I'd just go buy a used crappy jeep, or if you only need the bike racks occasionally (like once a month) renting a car might be a better solution than going crazy on your beautiful c6

Might as well get some driving gloves while you are at it :D I've seen it all in that picture above.

Torchsport 05-30-2011 09:18 PM

My unicycle fits just fine in the cargo area.

Vettes are sports cars, that's about it. That is why most of them just sit, unused in garages.

calmtgguy 05-30-2011 10:03 PM

What company makes a good surfboard rack for a C6 Vette?

fastskyline 05-30-2011 10:33 PM

shortboards will fit inside with the passenger seat folded forward...if the board is short enough. the fun part is vacuuming out the sand after

Davelt1coupe2010 05-31-2011 12:34 PM

I purchased one of these bikes to carry in my vette (my only car)

http://www.montaguebikes.com/

I have the paratrooper...fits in the cargo area - top closes with plenty of room to spare.
