Very nice. Are you running a HV pump? I saw a motor blow in a car because the run to the cooler was too long and the guy ran the stock oil pump.

Looks nice Brian. Is there enough air flow to the cooler?

have you even seen how GM mounted the LT5 oil cooler? It's almost as big as a microwave oven door and goes between the a/c condenser and radiator. It looked to have been made out of copper to boot.

Its a very long run for engine oil cooler lines.

I would make sure the FEED & RETURN Lines are at least #10 AN Braided Teflon lined hoses.

I would use ZERO / NONE 90 degree fittings also in your oil line plumbing.

I have a similar set up with the Vortech but oil gets hot. How much did all that run you? When I'm up at willow oil gets reallllll HOT.

I'm just on such a tight budget.
But super props on the cleanliness.

I'm super jelly of your Long tubes. I reallllly want a set with some cutouts behind them then through the rest of my exhaust.

Do you still have the stock radiator?
If so, then replacing it with one with a built in oil cooler would be the cheapest route.

You could do what I did with some of the cheaper setups from Summit
An Accusump and a road race pan are a lot cheaper than replacing and oil starved engine.

I was glad to see that you used a fan...I did this cooler mount some yrs ago (verticle mount) and got almost zero cooling effect until a fan was added. I since moved mine to the front of the condensor on my aluminum C channel reinforced bottom radiator shroud with the trans cooler.

Circulation was pretty poor...at best. Is there a bypass thats possibly going to open up and dump oil to the pan if the resistance due to distance becomes too high?.

Damn nice installation tho...

Finish it with a panel with a grill. The tire carrier IS part of the rear end collision safety system...so the tank is vulnerable without the tire and carrier. A bolt in plate/cover with a grill or vents should give you air flow and some protection for the tank.
