*Monday June 20th* - Corvette Night 2011 @ Mark's Classic Cruise
 

It's official, just got back from opening night (finally!) and had this years event booked. Start spreading the word, last year 231 Corvettes and we've only got 2 weeks to make this happen again. We'll need a few volunteers to arrive early & help with parking. For those who don't know about Mark's it is the largest weekly cruise in New England and averages 6-800+ cars on Monday nights. Well thats bad news for me - right now I'm scheduled to be in Portsmouth NH on business 0n 6/20. If that changes I will definetly be there to help out as last year.

I remember last year we were divided due to the early helpers parking near the entrance and the later comers ( the cruisers from the plaza ) parking 40-50 cars away... any chance of rectifying this?? :lurk: Making it up there early is out for us....:ack: Deni will actually have to take a night off the second job to attend at all.:cheers:

5:00 is Mark's start time. For helping out we probably need to be there by 4:45, while meeting at the plaza about 4:30.

We usually meet at the plaza around 5:15 and head over to Marks at 5:30 -5:45. Marks starts at 5:00. Because of Vette Night, some of us will probably be at Marks at 4:30 to help with parking and set up. Some will still meet at the plaza later to head in together.

Okay I'm IN......

went to yesterdays show around 7:45 with the wifey and her parents little silky terrier ( she baby sits the dog for them), to get the lay of the land. plus wifey never been. So all three of us will be there.

I would like to help out also if needed, is there a person or certain vette or license plate I should look for ?? :flag:

Hey Jeff, we should be OK for parking help, we have myself, Bullmarket, Jmbbluevette, HardtopC54fun, possibly a couple others. Marks asks for 3-4 so we should be fine. I wasn't part of the parking crew last year but we'll ask about trying to keep some room for the posse to park together. Suggest the parking group meet & leave the plaza by 4:30, the rest of the Posse by 5:30/5:45? Weather so far looks GOOD!:thumbs:
