Need Help with Tuner Kit Selection

I recently replaced the engine in my 85 with a 396 Super Ram. I had a chip burned by Fastchip. I'd like to be able to tweak the tune myself rather than sending the chip back for minor changes. I'm looking for advice on a kit to read and burn. I'm using WinALDL for data logging and that seems to work for waht the 85 computer has to offer. I see that TunerCat has a kit for $200 plus the definition file. Is there anything else I will need and is this a good starter kit?

That kit seems fine to me, it will work well.

For a little more you can scan, emulate, chip read, and chip burn all in one package.

^-- That with TunerPro RT lets you do everything.

I looked at Moates but I don't think it's compatible with the 85 ECM.
