2012 Vettes

From a person that bought one of many....

I just spent 2 days watching my 2012 ZR1 complete its journey on Line at BG........What a job GM did with the Centennial------its a Winner and thats without the Graphics which will go on in the next day or so........Relatively Speaking I Personally think its the Nicest Special Edition GM has ever Produced. ( and I have never been a Special Edition Corvette Lover)
It got Raves by everybody who saw it.........More at a later time---Unfortunately I have only one more day here....

Yes, seems Mr. Gluck buys a new one every year and sells the past model with next to no miles. (must enjoy looking at it more than driving it). I'll be interested to see what increase there is on the already overpriced CND values:(

But then again maybe GM will harmonize the pricing:blueangel:

Canadian pricing is actually not that bad. Wilson Niblett is advertising brand new 2011 coupes for $49,995 Canadian! So even though the MSRP in Canada is about $10k higher than the US, the actual selling price isn't far off. I doubt the US dealers are selling new Vettes for $10k off their MSRP, so the actual selling price down there on a new 2011 is probably only a couple of thousand less than what WN is selling them for up here.

WB's is the most plain coupe you can get -zero options ($69.8K msrp). So it might be $50K (a big $20K off) but if you look at some of the forum vendors price like this one TIm has discounting $8K off:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-d...one-hurry.html

HIs is $43K including $1K extras. So about $8K difference on the MOST base car.

I'm looking at a 2011 GS, MN6, 1SA with only the NPP and chrome wheel options and best price I see at the Edmonton dealers are $62K +tax for a $81K msrp car. Again TIm has exact car for $50K (for car #1 assuming it had chrome wheels):

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-d...-them-out.html

so a spread of $10K:ack: I know there would be some cost in shipping back...........

Higher the MSRP, higher the spread............

Come on GM get with the program.........

Frank

ps- and did you know with the recent friends and family program the pricing got shi$$ter, at least on the Vette's. They may offer to sell at employee pricing (invoice) but the cashback went from $12K to $7K. A net increase of ~$2K on the sale price. That's why the car I was looking at is now $62K and was advertized prior at $59.9K......go figure!!!!
