Edmunds has 2012 pricing

You can now configure and price out a 2012 Corvette on Edmunds.

Here's what I came up with for a Z06 ordered the way I would want it money permitting.

Z06 ultimate performance pack - $7500
Black headlamp override - $590
Z06 carbon fiber package - $3995
2lz equipment group - $4310
Dark grey calipers - $595
Carbon fiber hood - $2495
Destination - $975

Total MSRP - $95985

Pricing on the 2011 Carbon Edition doesn't seem that bad in comparison - plus I think being forced to get the newer tires in 2012 is a bad idea. I would have liked to see the option to keep the normal Michelins or get the new tires on an additional set of rims would be optimal. I think this is one area were if you are primarily going to on he street and not the track it doesn't make sense to go with the new skins. People aren't going to be happy with the tire life on the street and wet performance in the occasional rain shower you can't avoid.

Big rip off on the optional lights. The marginal cost to GM is near ZERO. But I suppose they are in the business to make money.

Most recently, losing money

Biggest ripoff is that you must pay for the NAV if you get 2LT or higher. $12k MSRP for the 4LT on a GS Vert? Come on GM. It was 4 digits last year. I priced out a 2011 GS Vert the way I wanted it and it was $67kish. Now it is $70k (comparing invoice).
