2005 torque tube problems

I have read of quite a few people having problems with their torque tubes on their corvettes. I now believe my 05 is having a problem with the tube and needs to be fixed.

My question is this. I know I can just fix the bearing, or buy another tq tube, but what causes the problems with the tubes and can it be fixed to where it dioesn't happen again?

Thank you,

Perhaps try to use the search feature of this forum . . I remember a couple of posts, but not many.

Good luck.

I already have.

I read something about the clutch seal pushing out and causing the bearing to come unseated. But I never saw a "fix" for it. That is what I am asking for, something to fix the problem so it doesn't happen again.

Thank you

Have you asked in C6 Tech? I think you would find more experience with TT's there.

FWIW, I haven't seen any discussion of "fixing" any issue that would prevent future failures. Good luck, I'll be watching. :)
