I have car #98 vin 400033 in Illinois just clicked over to 1900 miles. Its all stock, been thinking about selling it but I really like driving it. Torn between selling it, and just driving it to shows etc and not worrying about putting miles on it. It is in collector condition. Not sure how much love these cars are getting these days, and thoughts??

Congratulations! We do drive our #14 Black Coupe some. It has a little over 4000 miles on it now. We do love the car and it does wil trophies every time we show it. It is well kept in a Climate controlled facility and is completely stock. We have replaced the tires with OE to be safe on the road. Car is immaculate and we will be starting the NCRS certification process soon. We do have a standing offer of $65k if we ever decide to sell, but Rose is not ready yet. She is having too much fun talking to all the people that have questions and comments about the car. Glad you are having fun with the car. if you decide to sell, make sure you get a reasonable market value for it. What you do affects all of the other 124 car owners value wise. Best Wishes. JR

In case anyone is interested, Speed Lingerie has the pattern for bras for the yellow cars, and now black cars since I requested one last year.
I just installed it today https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...e7effc58e.jpeg I like the protection https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...b938af934.jpeg |
Once it sees the sun the few wrinkles will go away, and some protectant will add some gloss, it will look great

Here’s an old picture I shot of a few of the GT1 drop tops, they are limited and lovely! 😎

From my understanding, VIN's 1-3 in both colors were the promotional models built for GM. I have a Yellow coupe Vin #4 by the way Apparently, I had the first order in the system after the 6 promos were built. Still have less than 5,000 miles on mine (most of that was put in in the first year). I only take it out for car shows and local cruise-ins once I found out how rare it was. Have a 2016 Z06 now that I drive for "fun" |
I made some roster updates today based on reading back through posts. If I’ve missed anything then apologies. Please re-post or message me and I’ll go fix it as needed.

Out of curiosity, where did you pick up your vin#3?

The GM cars vin 1-6 has a different vin from the customer cars. Yes, it is a promotional model or GM Show car. I know that Vin 1-Z06 was auctioned off by the NCM and someone in Florida got it. My car is the 2nd yellow one(coupe) on the right.
As to how we got our car, well, that is a story that needs to be told..............some day!! Would love to hear the story of how you got yours some day. My story is pretty basic - the dealer (Fitchner Chevrolet) posted on this forum that he was taking orders for them and I jumped right on it. Put the order in so soon that it wasn't even in the dealer system yet - he had to work with GM to get the order in. Guess that's how I ended up with the first "non-promo" GT1 yellow coupe. |
Another Vette complete per my retirement detailing gig, and she got her 1st oil change with just a little over 500 miles on da clock!

Wow, take some pics and get serial numbers and home city/state from the GT1's. Go Corvette Racing!! Not everyone is going to give you their serial # and home address! That is not for the public. |
