DIY: Clutch- and brake-pedal rubber pads
I couldn't find any rubber pedal pads commercially, so I bought some for a 3rd gen. Camaro and made backing plates out of scrap steel. Got some thin-head bolts at the hardware store and mounted the pads without any drilling or glueing.

You my friend have a marketable product! I tried several different types of slip-on rubber pads and none worked. Great job.

Nicely done - those stock pedals can get really slippery when your shoes are wet.
|
I love them. Should have been that way from the factory.
|
This is just the solution I have been looking for. Any chance you'll be marketing the backing plates? I would love to acquire a set.

Very cool.

Good idea! I will make some today. The clutch pedal does get very slippery with wet shoe.

I admire your ingenuity! Nice job. |
I like it. Looks like they were supposed to be there the way you did it. Very well done.
