1971 LT-1 Cam Specs?

Anyone know the specs (Lift, duration, etc.) for an original 71 LT-1 Camshaft?

That may be a modern day replacement cam for the LT1 but the original had way more duration than that. It wa a long duration low lift solid cam. Not really a good cam for modern day engines. It needs a high compression piston and rpm to really work well.

Lookimg arond the duration at .050 is more like 242/252. Those are the numbers that are more like it.

Duration at .050" is 242/254, lift .459"/ .485". To give you an idea of how it compares to a hydraulic cam, doing the math the durations are 231/239. Decent cam for 10.5:1 compression when using the stock exhaust manifolds. If you run headers you can increase your cam selection.
