To each his own. I have not had a window banner since the 80's. If you like it, cool. Doesnt really matter what others think.

I am not a fan of window banners:rock:

If you have a Grand Sport, people already know you have it. It's like adding another Corvette name to the car. So uncool, IMO.

But what counts, is if you like it, then do it.

Evidently, you're having second thoughts. I can understand why. :willy:

Saw a window banner on an Aston Martin DB9, it looked cool, it said Aston Martin along w the British flag on the hood, the drivers name and other colorful decals. The DB 9 touring car racer can pull it off, as for the vette, it's a no for me.

I purchased the car slightly used and the banner came with the car. I was never a fan of it but I seem to be in the minority. I seem to get more compliments on the banner than I do the car. Thats the reason I haven't ripped it off yet. I am leaning towards doing away with it as I am not a big fan of window banners. :confused2:

It's looks good. I think the banners on the Will Cooksey and Ron Fellows editions look good , although they just say corvette on them.

It's a Corvette. It doesn't need a billboard in the windshield to announce its presence.

Your car looks c:cool::cool:l enough without the banner,IMO. the Vette, C1 thru C6 needs no bling....:D

I looked in your gallery at the full pictures of your car (rather than the close-ups of the banner) and it is not so bad when taken in full context. In proportion to the size of the windshield, the banner is not so big. Though I am not a fan of banners, I do not think it is objectionable. It does add a bit of color to the outside and I could see why people do compliment it. It does make your GS more unique. In this case, I'd vote to keep it.

I agree with you 100%. When you are just looking at the car and not using the banner as the focus point, it looks much less noticable and adds a little bit to the car.
