Hey guys, now that I have found a 348 CI in a 65 Vette, I went looking again and boy did find a 409 CI in a Vette.....

Good job on your search. This is a full on custom with tube chassis, etc so I suppose it's ok. I like the look and the 409 is classic for sure. Dunno, too many other engine choices out there, I would have went with a different mill. :crazy: but I bet it hauls....... :chevy

Back in '95, at Bloomington Gold, I saw a red 56 or 57 in the parking lot. It had a 409 in it, and 409 badges on the cove. Looked pretty neat...nothing like the custom 59 mentioned in the previous post. I'll see if I can dig up some photos.

Years ago, I lived in Fresno County in California. A neighbor took a nice '59 and dropped a 409 in it. It wasn't a clean job, though. You never know what's out there.

there was a guy where i worked that had a 57 with a 409. this was back in the 60s :chevy
