Nice weather and a recent run to Cars n coffee at (EAG). I usually post up whatever is happening, cmon Spring autox and Cruise in time!

Yep. I remember a group called the smokey mountain cruisers that always started their thread titles with SMC. Haven't seen that in quite some time though.

Those were a cRaZy bunch of characters.... :thumbs:

Crossville, TN here but I used to live in Maryville for a few years. But my car is a track only car so it won't be seen on any streets.

I did some searches and it looks like SMC WAS a fun bunch but it looks like most of their posting faded in 06 or 07. So dont let this fade lets see if we can get some nights out EH? I would love to go watch Golden eagle10 race! AND 97pace00 Jeep I recognize that avatar .....What happened is everyone now in ETCC? I am going to try and get with ETCC this year , just hard to get from OR to East knox on a workday as I work til 6 or 7 most nights....Wave On!

Sleepy hamlet of Dandridge. Just went to the ETCC planning meeting in Knoxville Tuesday night.

THE SMC has sorta faded fromn the scene.
Ron and a few of the others are still around.
The ETCC is going strong with over 200 members.

Yep, The Smoky Mountain Cruisers (SMC) were a fun bunch, but as some unorganized groups go, they just fade after a while as everyone goes different ways.

However, as Phanni said, I've hung around some with the ETCC and over the last few years their events have increased in variety. I went to last years autocross class. Sounds like there are still changes being made to make 2012 an exciting year for the club. More events, more variety, more people...

Add ETCC to you bookmarks! :thumbs:

Come to the ETCC meeting tomorrow night at Reeder Chevy (6:30 PM ), you'll meet a lot of them.
