dont expect it to work like the commercial. it works. you can still see the chips but it looks good from 5 feet away.

Yes, I ordered the kit to repair two chips and one deep scratch. The one chip I could not get a good repair - it was right on an outside corner and I could not get the paint to stay in the chip as it would wipe out with the blending solution, even after waiting 15 minutes to blend it.

The second chip repair looked good after three applications.

The deep scrath took some work. It was an effort in building up the layer of the product in the scratch to bring it up to the level of the panel. I applied it more than 30 times on this repair, and I have to admit it came out good. The vendor doesn't say it is appropriate on deep scratches but I tried it anyway - just a lot of work and patience here.

This was on a millienium yellow car - with this color you first have to use the base coat they give you.

Some observations:

1) You will run out of blending solution before you use all the paint.

2) I made a small squeege out of a plastic lid to 'smear' the paint into the chip / scratch. Works better and less messy than using a nitrile glove and a finger as the vendor suggests.

3) Color match is not 100%, but very very close. May have to do with the lack of a clear coat over the repair (repair dries out with a shine so no clear really needed). This paint is a 'tintcoat' from the factory so take that into consideration as well.

4) You can still see the outline of the chip if you look for it, but get 3-5 feet away and you won't notice the repair. The casual observer wouldn't see it at close range 2 out of 3 times.

Good results, but takes a little practice.

I would need a ten gallon bucket! Drive on! Repaint after the lottery win! Just prayin,,,,:D

I agree. I've used it several times. I've been pleased with the color match, but as stated above, you'll have to build it up if it's a chip. It won't fill it in with one coat.

Recently ordered a kit & received it a couple days ago. Haven't got around to using it yet as I have quite a bit of things going on with the car over the winter.
