Funny Z06 ad in Motor Trend

Hahahaha!!!! My wife bought me an Exotics Driving Experience package for my 40th Birthday in November. I'm going to see if they'll let me take a few laps in my Z..........

They don't offer the Z06 on their website???

I seen this add an was curious why you can drive all the other cars but the Z06 is ride along?

Last week, I let my 22 year old grandson take me for a ride in my Z.
I can honestly tell you:



In the wrong hands its........... DANGEROUS!!!

He was just saying what others have said, in the wrong hands a Z will get away from you before the others that may not have the low end torque..

Another way would be to say that the first time you drive a Z shouldn't be on a track where you may attempt things would wouldn't try in traffic.

Exactly. They'll let the average joe drive an LP700-4, 458 Italia, or even a McLaren, but it's a no go on the Z06. :D

Makes you wonder how easy it would be for any one of us to drive all of those other cars.

I saw that ad in one of the car mags and yes, the Z06 was a ride along. It is an easy car to get away from you if you don't show it the proper respect and have some driving ability.

That much hp in rear wheel drive, with a 6 speed manual, is a recipe for disaster. All the other cars are either all wheel, or they have tiptronics or something similar. That is why the Z06 was being crashed so much for test drives.

Takes a real man to drive the Z around a track :lol: :rock:

Still there, maybe photobucket was down.

I didn't even think about lower torque + AWD + automatic transmissions in so many of those models, does make sense. Even the RWD cars like the 458 come with an automated transmission.

I guess that's why Jeremy on top gear didn't really like testing the Z06. He said it just has to much brute power and is difficult to handle it.

Maybe the instructors wanna show you how fast you should go around a track an the best way to get around it the fastest an on the edge is in a Z06. I just got rid of a 600rwhp Cobra an it never scared me. My first wot blast in my 06 z scared me an my friend with the traction control off.
