Corvettes on Woodward August 15-17
 

I am starting to put it all together. There were 563 Corvettes last year. I really would like to know who is coming this year. Details will be here and in emails and on FB and on Twitter. So far I know of 15 Corvettes coming from Atlanta, some from Cleveland, Some from New Jersey, Some from Minnesota, Some from Toronto Canada and a group from Pittsburg. I would like to put together a team to help my wife Verna and I. This is really getting big. Let me know if you want to help. I have be asked many time if I think I could get 1000 Corvettes to show up..:party: Please remember this is a food drive for the Open hands Food Pantry in Royal Oak. Woo Hoo! Let me be the first one to reply to Larry's post! :rock: I will definately be coming to the Corvette Cruise on Woodward!

Hopefully we can get a caravan coming from WMC to join us this year? It really is a blast!

I would love to volunteer but work demands are so unpredictable.

Look forward to seeing how this event develops Larry! You are getting to be such a veteran at it, I'm sure it will only get better each year.

Barring a catastrophic event, my wife and I will be down from the Traverse City area again this year for the food drive for sure.

Thanks for helping my wife and I out last year to attend before we deployed (museum walkthrough and such). I just recieved word today that I'll be out of Afghanistan early August, and I think everything is lining up for me to be there. So count one more from Fort Bragg N.C. !

They will be at both America's Corvette Club Show, Corvettes America at Alpine Valley Ski Resort, White Lake Michigan on August 11 and Corvettes on Woodward at the Radisson Hotel, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan on August 15. A Corvette Club from Indianapolis called and they plan on bringing 15 Corvettes this year. :thumbs:

The rooms at the Radisson are all taken. Back up hotel Somerset Inn. 248-643-7800. Somerset is five minutes away. Iexpect a really big crowd this year.

Clubs have called the Radisson direct. This is why it is filled up.

I'll be there this year and I'll be bringing two others for sure.

This year a movie star will be at the Radisson on Wednesday attending Corvettes on Woodward.

Who is planning to come to the Heritage Center on Wednesday Aug 15? I have two tours 9 AM and 1 PM. Cost 10.00 per person ;imited to 140 cars each tour.

The party at HOOTERS will be Thursday August 16 begins at 7 PM :cheers:. Sorry no smilies that look like Hooter girls.
