c5Z what cam with nitrous
hey guys, i'm going to be doing a cam soon. My car is being fed a 150 wet shot through a plate.. I want a nasty cam but i also want something that's gonna get the best out of the nitrous as well.
I want a cam with a nasty nasty lope. I don't wanna go too big just for the lope and end up losing low end torque..My car is a DD in the summer and is also used for Drag racing. I was looking at the speed inc SI7 cam..it is 238/244 .605/.612 110LSA..I've had a few people tell me to turn away from the cam because it's too big.. I don't want the cam being a "nitrous specific" cam..I want it to be a all around cam on motor but also get the best out of the spray if this makes any sense lol.. My car has ran a best of 11.2 @ 128mph 1.8 60ft..on a 125 shot with a vararam and full exhaust on a stock clutch.. |

I wont argue with a big cam but don't sacrifice to much drivability if you DD it at times... just do a nice cam that drives good you ll make big power on the juice no matter what

TSP 233/239 or SNL v4 - I've been told both will work great with nitrous. I'll be testing out the SNL v4 with 100-150 shot this summer.

I would say something in the 230's for the intake and 240's exhaust with an 8-10* split on a 112lsa or less would work well.
234/244 112 should make great power and drive great with a good tune. |
