C6 Z06's in Austin with B&B fusions or cams or headers...

Hey Guys - I am looking for any c6 z06 owners in the Austin or surrouding areas (Round Rock, Lakeway) that has JUST B&B fusion exhaust or perhaps a mild cam or headers (or a combination of the both). I am thinking of getting one or a combo of them and wanted to hear first hand what they sound like when standing right next to them and if there is any drone at cruising speeds. Please let me know - looking forward to meeting a fellow Z owner :cheers:

I have headers, cam, and Fusions. I live a ways from you, but I can tell you, it is one of the sweetest, nastiest sounds you will hear. A real head turner. Now it does have a drone in 5th gear. If that bothers you, you can out a mild to wild switch on your console, and that makes listening to the radio or talking for that matter, much more pleasant.

thanks for the reply - that is just what i was wondering ...WITH the flaps closed... at highway speed is there drone ..like in the 1500-3000 rpm range. --and it doesnt have to be ALL of the mods i mentioned - just one of them ... but i imagine that that your set up is freaking awesome .. wish i could hear it in person

Closing the flaps cuts the drone. You can still hear the exhaust, but radio and conversation is no problem.

I have a cam on mine, with an Akrapovic exhaust. Closing the flaps when in 6th gear cuts the noise. I live in Round Rock.
