724 RWHP stock short block c5 z06

One of my customers brought his car back today, he cracked his original FAST manifold so he just swapped a LS2 intake manifold on... this car has been in this trim and 700+ power level for nearly 20,000 miles if i am not mistaken, of course it has been tuned by CMS since the beginning....

Car:
03 C5 Z06

Mods:
A&A T-Trim w/ 3.47", 317 Truck heads (9.5:1), Comp 224-228 cam , American Racing Headers 1 7/8's , 91 pump and Meth injection....118,000 mile Stock short block, dewitts radiator, custom 4" air inlet to blower, Built by the Customer, Tuned by CMS in 2 bar SD

We are right at the limit of the injectors (60lber's) and and the belt is a tad too long, so we had a little bit of built slip up top... he is going to bring it back with the new injectors and shorter belt and possibly turn her up a little more

Wow - that's crazy power for a stock block. If you come across a T-trim head unit for sale....let me know. I'm looking to upgrade

That is awesome! The budget build just make it so much sweeter to put that kinda of power down on stock LS6 with that many miles.

That car is a beast, great job Ryne .

Badass numbers out of a stock bottom end. Who says these motors can't take power. :smash:

here is the deal i have pushed the stock rods and pistons over 800 rwhp before.... but here is the difference they cant take much detonation at all at that power level, i mean if you have your foot is in it at all and it rattles, bye bye piston.... also at high power levels with the stock piston rings, you can sometimes run it piston ring butting up issue, because the factory gap is relatively tight, and was meant for a NA application... that being said i have not personally seen a ring butting up issue in person with a stock piston..

all in all my take on it is, as the power increases your safety margin decreases exponentially with power...
