Please tell me you DID NOT use rattle cans to paint you Corvette.

"Say it ain't so Margaret!"

No called plasti dip Comes right off lol. I did it this way first to make sure I like the look

I have seen a few white Vettes with this type of paint scheme and I think they look good. Be interested in seeing your finished look.

I like this look better. Just a tad different. Notice the way he painted the rear. No black on the outer part. Keeps the lines cleaner.

Btw this is not my car it was at a local Vette Show here in south florida. Also i am not a fan of the spoiler.

so finished pics. i kinda like how it wraps the sides .i was thinking of doing the small plastic valence above the exhaust matte white

JMO, but it looks like a replacement rear fascia was added that needs to be painted.

My thoughts exactly ^^^

Looks like it's primed and ready for paint.

Honestly you should have just had it wrapped. The spray lines are horrible from the rattle can, some areas paint build is higher and they appear darker in your pics.......

again its plasti dip it peels off and like i said i was doing to see if i like the color. i will have it painted if i decide to keep it. i was hoping to get opions on wether i should keep the black to the rear only like in the one pic posted by some one else and if i should do a gloss black or a flat black like shown

Vivid1 03-14-2012 05:09 PM

that doesn't even look somewhat good.

Wildmanht 03-14-2012 06:31 PM

not diggin the flat black look...

I would go with the black on the rear only. Not sure about the flat black versus the gloss black. Tough call on that one.

 for having the balls to do that to your car. I know the color is "off" in the photo, but if the plasti-dip was darker, it would look much better. How difficult is it to remove? I could see me doing that to the wheels for a temporary change.

OMG

philly07c6 03-14-2012 06:57 PM

it pells off like a sticker, you think gloss black would look better

SimpleC6 03-14-2012 07:04 PM

Looks sick as hell man. And I'm not even joking. Nice exhaust tips too.
