'66 wiper arm adjustment?
Hi guys,
proud owner of a all tru '66 triple black and trying to get things back in order :) issue i have noticed is that the wiper blades crash while they are going down - is there a timing or adjustment that I can make to the arms? Had another question unrelated - do I need to drop my cluster to change out the speaker? I have taken the glove box out but still can not get access to some of the fasteners. Appreciate the help. |
You can remove the two speaker nuts on the driver side with a 1/4" ratchet and a longextension. You'll have to lay on your back under the steering column.

i had the same problem with my wippers. found out i had the wrong wipper on top. the right way is passenger wipper on top. then they should work fine!!!!! 64tux

Put the wipers on the splines so they are positioned like this when off:
