'66 wiper arm adjustment?

Hi guys,
proud owner of a all tru '66 triple black and trying to get things back in order :)
issue i have noticed is that the wiper blades crash while they are going down - is there a timing or adjustment that I can make to the arms?

Had another question unrelated - do I need to drop my cluster to change out the speaker? I have taken the glove box out but still can not get access to some of the fasteners.

Appreciate the help.

You can remove the two speaker nuts on the driver side with a 1/4" ratchet and a longextension. You'll have to lay on your back under the steering column.

thank you Cam30 - will try that -- any suggestions on the wiper arms crashing?

This should help:

If you take out the clock, you can pretty much see what you're doing and avoid having to stand on your head while you unbolt the speaker.

:iagree: Remove the 2 front bolts and lift the driver seat out.....makes the job much easier. On the wiper blades, I assume in the rest position, the passenger blade sits above, or on top of the drivers blade, which is correct. The original Trico arms had a adjustment screw on the side of the arm. If your arms don't have that screw, you can remove the arm, and re-adjust the wiper arm head on the splined shaft. Be sure to get a wiper arm removal tool, and put tape over the top of the head to keep from damaging the wiper arm head. I would not use a screwdriver, and a pair of pliers to try and remove the arm off the spline. Of course, both wiper blades should be 15" each.

Put the wipers on the splines so they are positioned like this when off:
