Wtt 74 corvette ls4 (454) convertible 4speed w/ air
I have owned this car for almost 30 years and after giving it an almost 10 year (from start to finish) nut and bolt rotisserie restoration I have seen my dream car turn into a trailer queen and have only been able to actually drive it a little more than 1000 miles since it was finished over two years ago. The car now has a little more than 48K original miles.
Up for sale is a 1974 LS4 (454) Corvette Convertible (numbers matching) with a 4 speed, power steering, power windows, tilt tele and air conditioning. This car is one of less than 90 that are known to exist at this time and may be one of 300 ever built. This car is the only LS4 convertible that I have ever seen in this color combination - medium red and silver deluxe interior with a black top (although it originally had a white top). This car was delivered to Chevrolet Zone Office in Los Angeles California in late 1973 and I have the complete owner history since including a fantastic letter from the 2nd owner. ENGINE Original motor slightly modified by Nevan at Collier Machine before he died (RIP) and produced 430 h.p and over 520 ft lbs of torque. Although the engine is modified it looks as original on the outside and even has its very rare and expensive smog system. INTERIOR The interior is as original although I customized the original seats, The door panels are NOS originals and sat in my closet for more than 11 years before I had the chance to install them. The dash is perfect and the carpet is new new having replaced it when I reupholstered the seats. The shifter is Hurst. PAINT AND BODY The body on this car is perfect and the paint is near flawless. The door and hood gaps are awesome. All chrome and stainless are new, rechromed and/or polished as new. WHEELS AND TIRES I have a set of 15 x 8's with new tires (BFG's) I use for "original class" shows and I have a set of TT2's (Nitto's) for other shows - the rear is 18" and the fronts are 17" with new tires. DRIVETRAIN This car was made for show and the underside is nicely detailed has all stencil marks and paint dabs as per the factory. Much effort went into making sure this car had the correct textures as well as colors for the entire drivetrain. The exhaust is stainless (including the mufflers). Pictures are worth 1000 words - so look at the pictures - I daresay that this is the nicest 74 LS4 Convertible on the planet! I am interested in the following cars - Camaros, Chevelles, Corvettes (or anything interesting) or will sell the car outright for $30k. I assure you that $30K is a fraction of what I have in this beast. Call me at 239-777-1445 or email me at ROBRICCI@AOL.COM anytime. The car is located in Naples, FL. http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...ci/005_21A.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...i/image104.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...i/IMG_2899.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...i/IMG_2886.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...ci/image15.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...i/IMG_1631.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...i/image601.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...i/IMG_3056.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...i/IMG_3173.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...i/P1010146.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...i/P1010142.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...i/IMG_4036.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...bricci/439.jpg |

Congratulations and good luck with the sale. |
Great presentation of a Corvette for sale. Shouldn't have much trouble moving this one!

HI rr,
Great looking car! I remember very well your posts while you were working on it. An unusual, but STRIKING, combination of colors! Good Luck! Regards, Alan |
Nice car, but I think a 400+hp LS-4 is more than "slightly modified"

Could have sold it last night - turned down $26500.00 - probably should have my head examined. Rr |
Thanks to all for the kind words about the car...
I should have made it more clear that i am seeling the car with the larger torque thrust ii wheels and tires or the orignal type rally wheels and tires (15x8's) - i have had several buyers try to get me to discount the car because they do not one or the other - so - with the car comes a set of wheels - your choice of one or the other - not both and no - i will not discount the car - the first person that comes to me with 30k$ will own it. To those that have amde offers...i will not sell it until i have given you firt right of refusal if i do get a 30k offer! Rr |
