Mickey T's 305/35/19

Does anyone know if the MT 305's for 19 inch rims is a good tire that can be run on the street as well?

How many miles do you think you would get out of a set?

I have s little over 655 at the wheels and am looking for something to hold 1st/2nd gear

I have a stock c6 coupe without any widebody... it seems that all the good hooking tires are for z06 sizes :(

Atomic C6 04-17-2012 07:23 PM

sorry to say that was my same issue. seems general rule has been go wide body and get 345/35/18 MT to hook that kind of power on the street. I am running toyo 315/35/18 and they can only hook from 60 mph and up. They do hook good on a well preped track.

yeah and I would totally get a widebody if I didn't JUST buy 4 new rims/tires (re-11's) lol

They work fantastic for me, BUT if I had a stick, or a looser converter in the car, it may not be the same story. my guess is that you'll still have to pedal the car, but not nearly as much.

I run them on my car with no problems.

realcanuk 04-18-2012 07:40 AM

I run the MT's sometimes and although they are better than a regular street tire I was hoping for better traction. They wont hold your power in 1st for sure and probably not most of 2nd either. I think the only answer is to regulate the foot, or go down in wheel size.

I run 305/35/18s with almost 100 less horsepower and they won't hold 1st at full pressure on the street. 2nd will spin sometimes depending on the temperature and road surface. That said, they hook up WAY better than any street tire.

They're also perfectly safe for occasional wet weather driving if the necessity arises.

I run the 305/35/18's too and they are about the best you can get tractionwise unless you drop wheel diameter to get more sidewall. They did well for me at ~725 RWHP but hooking first and most of second with them on the street is not going to happen. I think the 19's would do well for you at that power level. Expect ~6-7k miles out of a pair.

cant see why it wouldn't ..... I run 305/30/19's right now out the rear so I can only assume they will look awesome

Definitely slow down and go very easy on the throttle in rain !!!

Sold...........I ran M/T's on my 06 GTO w/1.55 60' times. They are fantastic tires and I can't wait to heat them babies up!

I am not certain how much rwhp my Vette makes? Current mods: 10 psi of A&A boost, meth, and Circle D 3400 stall.

Not sure you will pull off 60 times like that on 19" tires, even these. I could be wrong so please keep us posted on results..

To be honest, I dont run them as my daily tire for that very reason. I put them on when going to the track or feel like pushing the car on a nice weekend.

txvettefan 04-21-2012 02:50 PM

Those are so beautiful........I considered pleasuring myself!!!!
