Drag Racing

For a drag racing application, is there anything out there to stop wheel hop on launch. Seems to be a problem with Corvettes as it was with Chevelles back in the '60s.

Bad News
Once again, demand of this very popular product has out stripped
the ability to keep up with production.

Please be Advised

Expected ship dates are 3 to 4 weeks, possibly the week before
or after ThanksGiving.

The last time this happened, by the time the back orders were
filled, the new order stock was mostly depleted.

If you are thinking about this for Christmas, you should act now.

We already have several customers waiting on the Thanksgiving delivery
dates.

Peace

Is the stage 1 a big improvement over the Z51 and can the install be done "at home"?

For a DD that does get up to triple digits at times in a straight away, what would you recommend that will make the car feel more connected to the ground? Would just sway bars do this. I dont want to make the car any harsher in driving as it is. I guess Im kinda asking what the sways do, and what the other parts do seperately? Not really up on suspension stuff as much as other mods. Thanks.

Sway bars will help keep the car flatter in the corners and make the
cars suspension more predictable. They will also make the "turn-in"
feel sharper and more responsive.

Most likely the disconnected feeling you are experiencing is more
associated with the shocks than the sway bars.

This is a good set up because it was designed and tuned to work
together.

It gives a more stable feels on the street, while not being to harsh
for a DD

Chip. I plan on getting a 2008-10 C6 Coupe, 6 speed manual tranny. Is your the J O'Connell Stage 1 kit ok with the stock C6 Coupe springs? I had a 2010 C6 Coupe and added Z51 shocks and sways and left the springs stock. I really didn't like the fact that on frisky driving, when turning in, it felt on edge getting ready for the rear end to come around. Tires were firestone Wide Oval RFT's.

Yes, no problems, they were designed around the stock springs

RFT"s are great in warm temps, and a little sketchy below 50f. IMHO

Thanks Chip. Will be getting the setup after returning to Las Vegas in March and buying the C6 in April.

The first thing I did with my base coupe was put this package on. 1000% improvement. I've even done a track day at Inde Motorsports Ranch using NT05's and it handled great. Very controllable and solid. Not too harsh for a daily driver either.

jon6.0, thanks for your feedback with the J O'Connell phase 1 system and the C6 I plan on buying.

I would talk to Pfadt. I think you will want their other swaybars. Drive it a while how it sits and if it's doing something you don't like, then think about new sways.

Since you took off the springs, you may want to go
stiffer...

I would go with the Light Rate Sway Bars if you have
the Coil Overs.
