Indy Driver Ryan Briscoe Tests ZR1 Pace Car

Watch it Here: Indy Driver Ryan Briscoe Tests ZR1 Pace Car

We've seen the ZR1 throwing it's weight around on the road course, but this is the first time we've seen it on an oval. Both Ryan Briscoe and Helio Castroneves of team Penske get in on the action.

Forgot to do the open palm/forward motion.:D

Of course he could, in a drunken stupor, smoke all of us.

I was hoping they'd show more of the ZR running all out on the track.

You'd think they'd have more vid than that. You go to the trouble of shooting some vid with those guys, and you got less than 2 min to post?

Do you think that maybe he wishes they'd edited that part out? :yesnod:

Anyway: I like this statement made in the write up

.....eight of the top nine fastest qualifiers are using Chevy’s twin-turbocharged, direct-injection V6 engine.,,,,,,

That looks like a lot of fun and offers up even more good bragging rights for ZR1 owners. Thanks for posting. And, that clip could be used as a promo for the MGW shifter swap. There is no way that 2nd to 3rd miss would have occurred with the MGW.
