Do M&H drag radials have good stability at high speeds?
I'm looking for feedback on M&H Racemaster stability from the guys that have used them at high speeds either in the 1/4 mile or 1/2 mile.
I had a set of 345/30-19 Nitto NT05R's and it took quite a bit of wear before they finally settled down at speed. There was quite a bit of 'squirm' or 'float' after 3rd gear (~120mph) when new. Right now I'm looking at the 325/45-17 M&H racemaster, but I want to make sure I won't get the feeling like the car is going to swap ends when I get up to speed. Especially in a 1/2 mile race where my 650whp C6 may see speeds well over 150mph. My fallback is the 345/35-18 MT ET Street II since it seems to be popular, but for the lower cost, I'd like to stick w/ the 17's if they'll work for what I use the car for. |
